Gaite was born December 2, 2001 in Bismarck, the son of Trap and Sheri (Hanretty) Gebhardt. He attended and graduated from Richardton-Taylor Public School in May. He was accepted and started linemen school with BSC.
Gaite participated in basketball, track, and his favorite sport, football. Gaite was an avid outdoorsmen. He loved to hunt, trap, snare, and fish. He could often be found with his faithful dog, Penny, or attending a branding. He worked hard to sharpen his various talents and was quick to share his passion of outdoor life. Gaite was gifted with a kind and compassionate heart, and many were drawn to his friendly and warm personality. Gaite was often surrounded by numerous friends and children flocked to him. Many relied on his servant’s heart to give a lending hand. He was very mindful of others and their needs. His willingness for this, increased his line of connections to anyone who met him.
Those blessed to have shared in his life are his parents, Trap and Sheri; sisters, Hadlee and Eastyn; grandparents, Cliff and Mary Hanretty, Ken and Diane Gebhardt; aunts and uncles, Sandy Hanretty and friend Brandon Schell, Renee and Brad Skraba, Jim and Sara Gebhardt, Rusty and Shanna Gebhardt; cousins Will and Jack Gebhardt, Levi Peeler, Brock and Hayden Skraba; and numerous great aunts and great uncles. He was preceded in death and welcomed into Heaven by his great-grandparents.
You are the greatest thing that ever happened to us. There is nothing we would rather see than your smile, and nothing we would rather hear than your laughter. Just one more adventure, one more hunt, and one more branding. We love you and miss you so much!
