Robert J. Evoniuk, 63, Dickinson, died Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at his home. Robert’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson with Msgr. Thomas Richter as celebrant. Interment will take place at the St. Josephat’s Cemetery, Gorham. Visitation will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with a rosary and vigil at 6:30 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Deacon Al Schwindt presiding.
Robert J. Evoniuk or as his friends and family knew him, ‘Bob’, was born on January 13th, 1957 in Dickinson, North Dakota to Marjorie Palaniuk and Samuel J. Evoniuk. Bob was a loving father, son, and brother. He was a religious man with a gentle soul and never met a cookie or sweet treat he didn’t like. He spent the last 8 years of his life being a trusted companion and best friend to his mother, Marjorie.
Bob grew up in Gorham/Fairfield and previously worked as a Landman at Western Gas. He was always willing to lend a hand and gave this life all he could each and every day.
He is survived by his children Ryan Evoniuk (Shelley Evoniuk) and Lisa Primrose (Jared Bernethy), his mother Marjorie Evoniuk, his sister Pam Hartwig (Rick Hartwig), his brothers Chris Evoniuk (Marian Evoniuk) and Dale Evoniuk (Linda Evoniuk), his grand-daughter Kennedi Evoniuk; and sister-in-law Amy Evoniuk.
He is preceded in death by his father Samuel J. Evoniuk and brother Jim Evoniuk. Bob left us too soon and until we meet again Chief, rest in peace.
