Lois F. Goetz, 58, Richardton, died Monday, March 2, 2020 at CHI St. Alexius Dickinson. There will be Funeral Service for Lois at 9:30 a.m., Monday, March 9, 2020 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Pastor Robert Nordvahl officiating. Interment will take place at the Richardton Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service with a prayer service at 4 p.m. with Pastor Jerry Sevier officiating. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service.
Lois Fay Meier was born March 29, 1961 in Dickinson, the daughter of Gerald Meier and Diann (Jenner) Meier. She was raised and educated in Parshall, having graduated from Parshall High School. She attended Interstate Business College and graduated in 1981. She worked at Medcenter One until 1990. Lois married Mark Goetz on April 14, 1990 at Charity Lutheran Church in Bismarck. Lois worked at Stark County Social Services as a homeworker until her death.
Lois was member was a member of Naomi Bible Study Group. She enjoyed scrap booking, going to concerts, cooking, especially facebook recipes.
Lois is survived by her husband, Mark, Richardton; daughter, Rachel Goetz, Fargo; brother, Mark Meier, Bismarck; and step-sister, Deanna Dailey, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerald “Jerry” Meier and Diann Geisinger; and numerous other relatives.
