Thomas L. Hellman, 58, Dickinson, died Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. There will be a gathering of family and friends from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., Friday, November 8, 2019 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, followed by a celebration of life service at 2 p.m. with Pastor Ron Dazell officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson.
Thomas L. Hellman was born May 24, 1961 in Beach, the son of Joseph and Claudia (Odenbaugh) Hellman. He was raised and educated in Philipsburg, Mont. and Gold Bar, Wash. He served in the United States Army. He began his career with Boeing, where he built Aircraft for 32 years.
Thomas was united in marriage to Nancy Jenson on February 22, 2008 in Everett, Wash. Following retirement they moved to Dickinson in June 2018.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding his Harley, four-wheeling and camping.
Thomas is survived by his wife, Nancy; children, Whitney Friedt, Dickinson and Joshua Wilson, Bellingham, Wash.; siblings, Cindy Hellman, Ken (Valerie) Hellman, David Hellman, Jackie (Brad) Arnot, and Donald “Butch” Hellman; in-laws, Marilyn Snow and Wayne Jenson; brother-in-law, John (Michele) Jenson; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; and grandson, LeLand Friedt.
