Alice J. Hushka, 76, Dickinson, died on Saturday, June 15, 2019 at Sunset Place, Mandan. Alice’s Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 22, 2019 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church with Fr. William Ruelle as celebrant. Inurnment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday with a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Bob Zent presiding.

Alice J. Hushka was born July 12, 1942 in Dickinson, daughter of John A. and Pauline R. (Berger) Hushka. She lived on the family farm until she was eight years old when the family moved to Dickinson. Alice attended St. Joseph’s Grade School and graduated from Dickinson High School. She went on to work at St. Joseph’s Hospital where she did on the job training as an x-ray technician. She went on to work as a care provider for ABLE and most recently in housekeeping and eventually as breakfast manager at Holiday Inn.

She recently moved to Bismarck to be with her son Jeremy. She loved music, animals and kids and enjoyed traveling with Jeremy.

Alice is survived by her son, Jeremy Hushka, Bismarck; four siblings, Floyd (Adeline) Hushka, Dickinson, Edith Norton, Dickinson, Isabella Woke, Butte, Mont., and Pauline (Gerald) Nault, Shelton, Wash.

She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Mary Ficek, Andrew Hushka, John Hushka, Jr., Phyllis Markle and Elaine Dobitz; and infant sibling, John.
