Jeremy D. Witchey, 28, Dickinson, died Friday, May 3, 2019 in Dickinson. A Liturgy of Word Service for Jeremy will be at 2 p.m., Friday, May 10, 2019 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Deacon Bob Zent presiding. Inurnment will take place at the Dickinson Mausoleum. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday.
90-11-07Jeremy D. Witchey was born November 7, 1990 in Dickinson, the son of Daniel and Connie (Zent) Witchey. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating in 2009 from DHS.
He worked at various places and most recently was at Charbonneau’s. Jeremy’s passion in life was detailing and he was excellent at what he completed.
His love of life was filled by outdoor activities. He was a master with snowmobiles, motorcycles, four wheeling and of course hunting and fishing sports.
Jeremy was not one to let the weather dictate his actions to remain inside. He was a true North Dakota enthusiast. He was always happy and very kind hearted. He always thought of others and put them first, before himself. Shed no tears for me. I am free.
Jeremy is survived by his loving parents, Daniel and Connie, Dickinson; sister, Karen, Dickinson; paternal grandparent, Mavis Witchey, Webster, S.D.; aunts and uncles, Shirley (Mike) Gerhart, Dickinson, Arnie (Linda) Zent, Bismarck, Joey Zent, Dickinson, Paulette (Rod) Wenko, Dickinson, Mel (Jan) Zent, Dickinson, Earl (Cheryl) Zent, Eden Prairie, Minn., Gary (Rae Jean) Zent, Dickinson, Jerry (Carol) Zent, Bismarck, Floyd (Joan) Witchey, Aberdeen, S.D., Joe (Peachie) Witchey, Webster, S.D., John Witchey, Groton, S.D., Sharil (Brian) Guthmiller, Webster; and numerous cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Ralph and Mina Zent; uncle, Marvin Zent; aunt, Darlene Zent; his paternal grandparent, Earl Witchey; uncle Ron Witchey and uncle Ralph Zent (infant).
