Jonathan E. Musk, 44, Mott, died Saturday, May 4, 2019 at CHI St. Alexius, Dickinson. Funeral Services for Jonathan will be 3 p.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Rev. Paul Ferrie officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Jonathan Edward Musk was born January 29, 1975 in Rumoi, Hokkaido, Japan, the son of Frank B. and Judith (Vander Veen) Musk. He was raised and educated in Japan until high school, when he came to South Carolina and attended Southside Christian High School in Greenville, S.C., graduating in 1993. He went on to attend Northland Baptist Bible College and Bob Jones University.
He was united in marriage to Christina Spencer on August 2, 2003 at Fountain Inn, S.C. To this union two children were born, Charis Joy and Gavin Alexander. They moved to Mott ten years ago where he went to work for the DOT.
He enjoyed technology and working with computers, motorcycling, having made some trips to Sturgis, and spending time with family and friends. He was also a coffee connoisseur. He will be remembered for his sense of humor and infectious laugh.
Jonathan is survived by his children, Charis and Gavin, Mott; his parents, Frank and Judith, Fountain Inn; sisters, Linda (Dean) Shaffer, Greer, S.C. and Marlene (Joseph) Shaw, Fountain Inn; brother-in-law, Matthew Henry, Fairfax, Va.; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy Henry.
