Marvin A. Cassezza, 80, Gladstone, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at the Richardton Health Center, Richardton. Marvin’s Memorial Service will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Pastor James Koller officiating. Inurnment will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Richardton. Visitation will be one hour prior to services on Saturday.
Marvin A. Cassezza was born January 31, 1938 in Richardton, son of Aloys and Alice (Mischel) Cassezza. He was raised and educated in Richardton.
Marvin was united in marriage to Wilme Koller on October 1, 1957. They made their home in Gladstone where he worked for Royal Oak Enterprises until his retirement. He became a resident of the Richardton Health Center in January of 2017.
He enjoyed playing the accordion, listening to old time music, tinkering with cars, repairing radios and televisions, but especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
Marvin is survived by his seven children, Marvin R. Cassezza, Gladstone, Patrick Cassezza, Sidney, Mont., Ron Cassezza, Grafton, Wanda Cassezza, Ariz., Ken (Patrice) Cassezza, Dickinson, Debra Cassezza, Gladstone, and Brenda Cassezza, Hebron; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and two siblings, Yvonne Coleman, Billings, Mont. and Alvin (Lana) Cassezza, Beaverton, Ore. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilme, on February 28, 2013; his parents; daughter, Laverne; grandson, Mathew; four brothers, David, Norman, Neil and Lowell; and one sister, Mary Beth.
