Roberta M. Dugan, 81, formerly of Towner, passed away peacefully, Thursday, February 8, 2018 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. As per her wishes cremation has taken place and no services will be held.
Roberta Roberts was born July 19, 1936 in Rugby to Carl and Elvira (Wohlmann) Roberts. She graduated from Rugby High School in 1954. Roberta married O’Leary Dugan on July 20, 1955, and together they had four children.
Her Christian faith was paramount in her life. She enjoyed reading, music, knitting, gardening and spending time in the kitchen cooking and baking. She had a love for animals and was known for taking in a stray dog or cat and giving them a forever home.
Roberta is survived by her husband of 62 years, Leary; daughters, Terri (Paul) Herauf, Dickinson, and Kathleen (Bruce) Schneider, Evansville, Ind.; sons, Thomas (Pam) Dugan, Gillette, Wyo., and Michael Dugan, Louisville, Colo.; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her brother, Ralph (Karen) Roberts, Littleton, Colo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Elvira; her sister, JoAnn; granddaughter, Maureen; and great-grandson, Gatsby.
