Louise Haag, 93, Richardton, died Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Louise’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m., Monday, October 2, 2017 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Richardton with Fr. Thomas Wordekemper, OSB as celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Sunday at Ladbury Funeral Service. There will be a rosary & a time of sharing at 6 p.m., Sunday. Visitation will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Monday.

Louise Kopp was born on January 13, 1924 in Krasna, near Strasburg, on the family farm. She was the daughter of John and Rufina (Miller) Kopp. The family moved to a farm near Richardton in 1941.

Louise met Joseph Haag and they were married on January 22, 1946. They farmed east of Richardton and were blessed with three daughters and four sons, and they all grew up on the family farm. After Joseph passed away in 2004, Louise moved to Evergreen in Dickinson in October 2005.

She was a hard working and devoted wife and mother. She enjoyed playing the organ, gardening, baking, cooking, reading and playing games. Louise was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Richardton for 64 years. She was also a member of Christian Mothers, American Legion Auxiliary and Homemakers Club of Richardton.

Louise is survived by her daughters, Irene Haag, Josie (Cal) Ullendorf and Linda Haag; sons, Ken Haag, Matt (Marilyn) Haag and Jeff Haag; sisters, Agnes (Matt) Fettig and Marie (Bill) Glass; 11 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph in 2004; son, Daniel in 1999; brother, Victor; sisters, Margaret and Sally.
