Andrew Rambousek, 77, Dickinson, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at his home. A private family service for Andrew will be held. There will be a visitation today, Thursday from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Interment will take place at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, New Hradec.
Andrew Rambousek was born January 8, 1939 on the family farm in Stark County, North Dakota, the son of Anton and Mary (Luptak) Rambousek. He was raised and educated north west of Dickinson, having attended country school. He farmed and ranched on the family place throughout his life.
Andrew enjoyed hunting and fishing, going dancing, and playing cards (Showdown). He was a happy person who loved to play jokes on others, and enjoyed family gatherings.
Andrew is survived by his siblings, Martha Marsh, Georgian Steffan, Victoria (Louis) Sadowsky, Henry (Gladys) Rambousek, Margie Jilek, and Shirley Dahmus; sister-in-law, Edith Rambousek; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; infant brothers, Charlie and Joseph; infant sister, Edith; and siblings and spouses, Tony Rambousek, Dorothy (Andrew) Ridl, MaryAnn (John) Praus, Eleanore (Charles) Marsh, Paul Dahmus, Tony Jilek, Sylvin Steffan and George Marsh.
