Gary E. Pavlicek was born August 19, 1959 at Dickinson, the son of Adolph and Mary (Rambousek) Pavlicek. He was raised and educated in Dickinson. He went on to work for Nabor’s Drilling and other drill companies in the 1980’s. Gary owned and operated Gary’s Paint and Lawn Service for the past 20 years. He took great pride in his work. This extended into his latest project the Chevy truck, “his baby”.

Gary married Sherri Hieb on August 17, 2001, and together they built their life and family. As a blended family they were the parents to Justin Pavlicek, Steph (Branden) (Pavlicek) Rasmussen, Sarah (Frankie) (Pavlicek) Berrios, Jeremy Splichal, Tracie (Eric) Rhoades, Joseph Gream, James Gream, Zachary, Serenity, and Makena Pavlicek. He also has seven grandchildren, Parker, Destiny, Little Frank, Amaya, Neveah, Allie and Ayhdenn.

He loved to always be busy, painting, cutting grass, or spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Sherri; their ten children; grandchildren; his favorite uncle, Ed Rambousek (who loved to watch classic tractors and Mecum Auction, and discuss old tractors with Gary); and best friends, Mel and Tanner. He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph and Mary; son, Chance; daughter, Melinda; step-mother, Margaret; and many aunts and uncles.
