Karen Sue Crawford, 58, New England, died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at her home. Karen’s Funeral Service will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at Our Redeemer’s Lutheran Church, New England, with Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.
Karen Sue Parmaley was born August 26, 1957 at Renton, Wash., the daughter of Donald E. and Lena Y. (Howell) Parmaley. She was raised and educated in Renton where she also graduated from high school.
Karen was united in marriage to Randy A. Crawford on August 10, 1981 at Puyallup, Wash. She loved being a stay at home mother to their two daughters. Throughout their lives together, she and Randy were performers and entertainers of Country Music. They just recently were inducted into the Dakota Legends of Country Music Hall of Fame.
She loved caring for her grandchildren. She belonged to the women’s club of New England and had also taught Sunday School.
Karen is survived by her husband, Randy; two daughters, Maria Jene (Matthew) Standish, and Alisha Yvonne Crawford; grandchildren, Emily Grace Standish, Alanna Lyn Crawford, Brandon Allen Crawford, and Samara Jene Vannoy; and two brothers, Darren and Gary Parmaley. She was preceded in death by her parents, and an infant daughter, Jessica.
