Kelly H. Swanson, 45, Dickinson, died, Sunday, January 3, 2016 at the Avera McKenna Hospital, Sioux Falls, S.D. Kelly’s funeral service will be at 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with Rev. Cal Oraw officiating. Inurnment will take place at the Bell Cemetery, Rochford, S.D.
Kelly H. Swanson was born June 16, 1970 at Dickinson, the son of David Swanson and Camey Holbrook. He was raised and educated in Dickinson by his mother and step-dad, David Huncovsky. Throughout his life he worked as a handyman.
He loved working on arts and crafts, and will always be remembered as a kind and thoughtful individual who always had the best intentions in mind.
Kelly is survived by his parents, David (Barb) Swanson, Arizona, and Camey and Dave Huncovsky, Dickinson; brother, Mike (Mary Ellen) Swanson, New York; half brother, Jason Swanson, Arizona; nieces, Katie, Megan and Hailey Swanson; nephew, Dreyden Huncovsky; aunt, JoAnna (Curt) Fuchs; along with numerous other aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ardy and Hibby Swanson, Harold and Harriet Holbrook, Don and Jo Huncovsky; and brother, DJ Huncovsky.
