Michelle Dvorak, 39, Bismarck, formerly of Dickinson, died Monday, May 25, 2015 following a nine week battle with heart complications at St. Alexius Medical Center, Bismarck, with her family at her side. Michelle’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, New Hradec, with Fr. Basil Atwell, OSB as the celebrant, and Fr. John Paul Gardner as the con-celebrant. Visitation will be on Friday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, with Deacon Bob Zent presiding.

Michelle was born September 5, 1975 at Dickinson, the daughter of Gary and Connie (Bullinger) Dvorak. She was raised and educated in the Dickinson area, graduating from Dickinson High School in 1994. She then attended Dickinson State University prior to transferring to the University of Mary in Bismarck, where she received her BS Degree.

Michelle worked in Bismarck prior to beginning her career at St. Bernard Mission School at Fort Yates. She served as a cook and also as librarian at the school. Her first passion was the Smurfs, and over the years found enjoyment in reading, cooking, baking, gardening and growing flowers. She was an avid follower of the Dakota Wizards and Bismarck Bobcats. She also enjoyed working with various churches and youth groups in the area. Michelle loved to attend several concerts at the Prairie Knights Casino.

Michelle is survived by her parents, Gary and Connie; four siblings, Matthew (Toni) Dvorak, Marcella Dvorak, Mark Dvorak, and Marvin Dvorak, all of Dickinson; niece and nephews, Gavin, Payton, and Anna Dvorak; grandmother, Frances Bullinger, Dickinson; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; and her Godchildren, Sierra and Jasmine Trottier. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, George L. and Hattie B. Dvorak, and Tony Bullinger; and cousins, Shawn Bullinger, and Jonathon Miller.
