Louise Faller, 88, Dickinson, died Sunday, February 22, 2015 at Sanford Health, Bismarck. Louise’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 9:30 a.m., Friday, February 27, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will follow at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, with Deacon Jerry Volk presiding. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding.

Louise Stroh was born July 1, 1926, rural Manning, the daughter of Raphael P. and Klementina (Keller) Stroh. She was raised and educated in the Fayette and Manning areas.

Louise was united in marriage to Peter J. Faller on October 14, 1946, at St. Edward’s Catholic Church, Fayette. They lived in Dickinson where throughout her life she worked at various jobs, such as, waitressing, cooking, and as a sales clerk.

She belonged to the Christian Mothers of the Americas. She loved to crochet, knit, bake and cook, going fishing and camping, traveling, and especially spending time with her family.

Louise is survived by her two children, Arnold (Patricia) Faller, Stevensville, Mont., and Karen Runge, Bismarck; four grandchildren, Kelly Herman, Christopher Runge, Travis (Mary) Faller, and Lindsey (Augusto) Gonzales-Prada; four great-grandchildren, Taylor Herman, Dawson Faller, Malia Faller, and Violet Gonzales-Prada; and one sister, Eva Kilzer, Dickinson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter, on April 16, 2004; her parents; infant daughter, Kathleen; and nine siblings, Martin Stroh, Peter Stroh, Nick Stroh, Sebastian Stroh, Leo Messmer, Monica Froelich, Clementina Svetenko, Eleanor Schmidt, and Josephine Hartman.
