After his mother’s death, Bob was raised by his dad and step-mother Coraline, whom he loved very much, in Santee, Calif., where he attended Santanna High School. Bob enlisted in the U.S. Army and served honorably from July 1973 until July 1976. After his discharge, Bob began a career as an electrician. It was during this time that he married Joyce Kinney. Bob enjoyed a life of fishing and camping and time with his family. In 2000 he married Clarice Chavez and together they raised a blended family. In 2012, Bob moved to Mott where he enjoyed the peace and quiet of small town living, later that year he moved to South Heart where he and Clarice made their home. Bob worked for Berger Electric.
He is survived by his soul mate, Clarice; two children, Jessica Green and Jeremy Pike; two stepchildren, Derek Chavez and Clarissa Callahan; three grandchildren, Rebecca, Brandie, and Brittany and one soon-to-be-born grandson; two step grandchildren, Mitchell Amaechi and Haylo Chavez; his stepmother, Coraline; four brothers, Richard, Michael, David, and Robert, III; two sisters, Sandra and Ethel and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bob was a hard working man with old school concepts who enjoyed the simple things in life; family, friends, and the outdoors. He was dearly loved and will be missed by all but he will never be forgotten.
