Delores A. Moore, 93, Dickinson, died Tuesday, August 19, 2014 with her family at her side, at the St. Luke’s Home, Dickinson. Delores’ funeral service will be at 7 p.m., Saturday, August 23, 2014, at St. John Lutheran Church, Dickinson, with Rev. Lisa Lewton officiating. Interment will take place at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will take place on Friday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a prayer service at 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue on Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the church.

Delores A. Zander was born on Dec. 18, 1920, in Dickinson, the daughter of Robert and Ida (Jauss) Zander. She attended first through eighth grade at Shipley School south of Dickinson. She attended beauty school in Bismarck.

She married Lee A. Moore on Sept. 4, 1942, in Wibaux, Mont. They lived in Savannah, Ga., for two years, while Lee was in the Army. They moved back to live in Gladstone until 1946, when they then moved to the farm east of Gladstone.

In 1968, they moved back into Gladstone. Lee passed away on March 23, 1970. She lived in Gladstone until she moved to Dickinson in 1996, where she has resided since.

She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, knitting, counted cross stitch, and loved playing cards and bingo and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her sons, Gary and Dennis (Jodi) Moore; daughter, Belle (Ed) Krank; daughter-in-law, Colleen (Alan) Moore-Reed; sister, Gladys Kolling; brother, Gordon (Betty) Zander; 14 grandchildren, Lori (John) Weber, Shelly (Jerry) Hewson, Doug (Jeni) Moore, Todd (Bridget) Moore, Brad (Andrea) Moore, Robb (Heidi) Moore, Chantal (Alan) McMurtrey, Becky (fiancé Ron) Moore, Jay (Heidi) Krank, Dawn (Jason) Zastoupil, Lyndsey (Chad) Erickson, Lacey (Howard) Klingbeil, Jordan (Ivy) Rath and Kelsey Markus; 29 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lee; son, Ronald; daughter-in-law, Bridget; great-grandson Gavin; four brothers and two sisters.
