Lucinda “Cid” (Hewson) Hunter, 58, Avondale, Ariz., died Friday, July 11, 2014 in Goodyear, Ariz. of pancreatic cancer. Graveside services for Cid will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, July 19, 2014 at the Medora Cemetery, Medora.
Lucinda Hewson was born December 21, 1955 to Dale and Virginia (Ray) Hewson at Dickinson. Cid was a member of both the National Association of Realtors and WEMAR; affiliated with Home Smart, and co-owned Home Hunters of Arizona. She was an accomplished musician with a great love and skill of the harp, violin and mandolin and helped to organize Music Makers Gathering. She was a master of shopping, decorating and lighting up any situation. Cid treasured her fellowship with the Church at Litchfield Park and especially the young parishioners at Vacation Bible School.
Cid is survived by her children; Kevin Hunter, Jennifer Passolt and Jessica Newsome; Grandma Silly to twelve grandchildren; Cheyenne, Coen, Chase, Cason, Ricky, Mariah, Jada, Macy, Cavin, Marley, Isaiah, Bently; her mother, Virginia Hewson; sisters; Cheryl Hewson, Pam Reinarts, Kass Hewson, and Ginny (Lou) Alexander; nephews, Josh, Jake and Mike; nieces, Courtney and Jenna Kaye; great-nephews, Conor and Gibson; and great-nieces, Maddie, Lilly and Sulli.
She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Hewson; her son, Dustin Hunter; and great-nephew, Gavin Hewson.
