Roger H. Kubischta, 56, Dickinson, died Wednesday, August 28, 2013 at Rochester, Minn. Roger’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Shannon Lucht as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be on Friday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m., with a Vigil at 6 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Saturday.
Roger H. Kubischta was born September 24, 1956 in Dickinson, the son of Alex and Betty (Schwindt) Kubischta. He was raised and educated in Dickinson graduating from Dickinson High School in 1975.
He was united in marriage to Connie Praus on September 9, 1995 at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Dickinson. Roger began working for Royal Oak Briquetting Plant in 1975 and stayed with them until they closed in 1990. He then began a career with Kadrmas Lee & Jackson in 1992 as a rodmen and at the time of his death was a land surveyor.
Roger enjoyed riding his Harley, going fishing, camping, hunting and watching WWE.
Roger is survived by his wife, Connie; three children, Melissa (Jeremy) Witte, Dickinson, Chris (Aaron) Molbert, Dickinson, and Shane Kubischta, Dickinson; four grandchildren, Alie and Bree Molbert, and Jacob and Caleb Witte; his parents, Alex and Betty Kubischta; and three siblings, Gary Kubischta, Dickinson, Donald (Tami) Kubischta, Dickinson, and Jeanette (Andrew) Fiedler, Dickinson.
