Paulette was born on June 4, 1953 in Dickinson, to Mike and Mary (Kostelecky) Adamski. She was raised and attended grade school and high school in South Heart. In junior high, she had a chance meeting on the first day school with Charles “Chuck” Meduna. From that moment on they made a life together.

Chuck and Paulette were united in marriage on August 19, 1972, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, South Heart. They traveled for several years living in Guam and Illinois during Chuck’s service with the US Navy. They returned to make their home in South Heart and recently moved to Dickinson.

Paulette was very dedicated to her profession. She started a career with the Knights of Columbus Club in Dickinson in 1984 and spent 22 years there working her way up to management. Needing a change in her life, she moved onto Mackoff Kellogg Law Firm and most recently Manger Insurance, Inc. out of Williston from her home. She thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of working from home.

She was a friend to many. She was instantly loved by anyone who knew her. Her smile would light up any room and her laugh was infectious. Her greatest joy in life came from camping and fishing with Chuck and their family. Her grandchildren brought her great happiness and she did everything she could to spend any free time with them. Her dogs, Ozzie and Charlie, were a very important part of her family and will now always be with her.
