Lorraine C. Stoltz, 83, Dickinson, died Thursday, July 12, 2012 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson. Lorraine’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, New England, with Fr. Patrick Moore, OSB as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services on Wednesday.

Lorraine Christine Simon was born January 6, 1929 in Hettinger County of North Dakota, the daughter of Anton and Anna (Jung) Simon. She was raised and educated north of New England along the county line.

Lorraine married Peter Stoltz on September 11, 1951 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church. They farmed together four miles northwest of New England. Lorraine moved into New England and began working as a custodian for New England Public Schools. She remained in New England until January 2009 when she became a resident of the St. Luke’s Home.

She belonged to the St. Mary’s Altar Society. Her greatest joys came from working in her garden, spending time outdoors, sewing and being with her family and friends.

Lorraine is survived by her four children, Gerald P. (Carol) Stoltz, Billings, Mont., Judy D. (Harvey) Reisenauer, Lake Havasu City, Ariz., Karen A. (Mike) Sticka, New England, and LouAnn M. (Randy) Mellmer, New England; six grandchildren, Shaun Reisenauer, Christina Stoltz, Daniel Stoltz, Pam (Kyle) Zimmerman, Jessica (Adam) Eckert, and Blaise Sticka; four great-grandchildren, Madison Reisenauer, Jakob Reisenauer, Dylan Stoltz, and Mya Eckert; and three siblings, Arnold Simon, New England, Virginia (Raymond) Anton, Mansfield, Ohio, and Marlene (Norman) Anton, Mansfield, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister and brother-in-law, Mary Anne (Carl) Koppinger.
