Brandon Lee Glovatsky, 25, of Portland, Ore., passed away Wednesday, June 9, 2010. Funeral services were held in Portland on June 15, 2010. Interment took place at the Dickinson Cemetery.

Brandon was born on April 12, 1985, to Dianne Barrett and Elmer Glovatsky. Being the youngest of five children, he grew up on a farm near Grassy Butte, N.D., surrounded by parents, sisters, and brothers who loved him. At an early age, Brandon demonstrated his love for his family which continued throughout his life.

Brandon attended a small rural elementary school in Grassy Butte and then junior high in Watford City, N.D. He later went to Platte Valley Academy in Nebraska and graduated from Upper Columbia Academy near Spokane, Wash., in 2004. He then attended Walla Walla Union College in Washington to pursue a career in dentistry.

Growing up on a farm near Grassy Butte, N.D., Brandon enjoyed riding horses, cycles, and snow mobiles. His other passions included singing, playing his tuba, snowboarding, mountain biking, traveling, baking, and sharing happiness with everyone he knew.

Brandon inspired everyone he knew and often said he wanted to make a difference by helping people. As a dedicated Christian, he loved his Lord and Savior.

Brandon is survived by his mother, Dianne Glovatsky, Dickinson, his sisters Heather Glovatsky, Portland, Ore., and Priscilla Glovatsky, Daytona Beach, Fla., and his brothers, Marlan Glovatsky and Bryce Glovatsky, both in Portland, Ore. He is preceded in death by his father, Elmer Glovatsky.
