Ronald Russomanno, 59, Dickinson, died Friday, October 9, 2009 at MedCenter One, Bismarck. Ron’s funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Deacon Ron Wolberg presiding. Interment will follow at St. Wenceslaus Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to service time on Tuesday at Ladbury Funeral Service.
Ronald M. Russomanno was born on February 12, 1950 in Newark, N.J., the son of Lawrence and Charlotte (Houghton) Russomanno. He was raised and educated in Trenton, N.J., graduating from Hamilton High School. Ron was married to Geralyn Davey.
Ronald moved to Dickinson in the early 1980’s during the oil boom. While here he continued his own business as a floor mechanic. He loved video taping events, fishing, going to rummage sales, and watching classic movies and the Beatles. His best times were spent with his family and many friends. He loved life.
Ron is survived by and will be dearly and deeply missed by his sister, Theresa (Randy) Splichal; niece, Jessica (Jesse) Gravdahl; nephew, Eric Adams; and three children, Ronald, Daniel and Angela Russomanno; and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his fiance, Livy Kadrmas; his parents; and two brothers, Larry and Bobby.
