Cynthia (Link) DeBlois, 48, Mandan, ND formerly of Dickinson died of natural causes on Friday, April 18, 2008 in Mandan. Cindy’s funeral mass will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, April 24, 2008 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Dickinson with Fr. Bruce MacDuffie as celebrant. Interment will take place at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Cindy Link was born May 15, 1959 in Dickinson the daughter of Harry H. and Muriel (Kunze) Link. She was raised in Dickinson graduating from Dickinson High School in 1977.
Cindy married Joseph DeBlois in April of 1982 in Dickinson. Together they lived in Louisiana, Colorado and Tennessee while Joe served in the military and Cindy enjoyed her life as a homemaker. Cindy moved back to Dickinson in 2003 and in December of 2007 moved to Mandan.

Cindy enjoyed embroidery, reading, and growing flowers. She loved children and all animals, especially her birds and dogs. She belonged to a military wives support group.
Cindy is survived by her mother, Muriel Dassinger, Dickinson; two sisters, LaDaun (Bruce) Johnson, Ramsey, Minn., and Janel (Rod) Dowhaniuk, Dickinson; one brother, Gary (Mime) Link, Eureka, Nev.; and her nieces and nephews, Jana Palaia, Lindsey (Steve) Holaday, Anthony Palaia, Derek Dowhaniuk, Cole Dowhaniuk, William Link and Benjamin Link. She was preceded in death by her father, stepfather, Nick Dassinger, and her grandparents.

In lieu of flowers the family prefers memorials to the Humane Society in Bismarck, who took care of her dogs after her death.
