Joseph “Joe” Boehm, 55, Dickinson, ND, died Saturday, March 24, 2007 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Joe’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Dennis Schafer as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday and from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Tuesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a rosary and vigil at 7 p.m., Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Joseph R. Boehm was born May 11, 1951 at Dickinson, ND, the son of Joseph C. and Tillie (Berger) Boehm. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, graduating from Dickinson High School in 1971.

Joe married the love of his life, Bonnie Kindsvogel on June 10, 1988 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. They made their home here in Dickinson where they loved to go on evening walks together.

Joe had worked for Andy’s Sanitation for several years and also volunteered his services at the German/Hungarian Club. As members early on he had served as an usher for many years. Joe loved to listen to old time music, play cards and with Bonnie’s companionship became a Bingo player.

Joe’s health forced him to become a resident of St. Benedict’s Health Center a year ago. He always enjoyed the times that he would go back home.

Joe is survived by his wife, Bonnie; his sister, Aggie (Ralph) Krebs, Dickinson; his brother, Leo Boehm, Dickinson; step-sister, Cecilia (Louie) Hafele, Rhame; and his brother-in-law, Terry (fiancee-Carmen) Thedin, Fargo. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his step-father.
