Christ Miller, 77, Dickinson, ND, died Saturday, March 10, 2007 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Christ’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 14, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Arul Joseph Iradamoney as the celebrant and all of Christ’s friends and relatives considered honorary casket bearers. Interment will follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, 2007 at Ladbury Funeral Service with a rosary at 7 p.m., led by his sister, Eva.

Christ Miller was born January 9, 1930 on the family farm in the Hirschville area, the son of Martin and Mathilda (Berger) Miller. In 1951 he became a resident at the Grafton State School in North Dakota. In 1975 he was placed in a group home in Dickinson.

Christ had worked at Trimline for one year and for 21 years at the ARC Aide Thrift Store. He was a kind individual especially to the handicapped. Christ was an avid bowler and won many trophies in tournaments. Christ purchased a Moped which was his transportation for many years and with it he was able to collect aluminum cans, which he used the money to help defray his medical expenses, and also to help keep America beautiful. Christ became a resident of St. Benedict’s Health Center in 2006.

Christ is survived by seven siblings, Julius (Rose) Miller, Rose Feller, Frances (Tony) Jaeger, Tillie (George) Kilzer, Eva Rettig, Tony (Lorna) Miller and Paul Miller; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Joe and Martin Miller, one sister, Anna Heck, three brothers-in-law, John Heck, Math Feller, and Tom Rettig, and one sister-in-law, Linda Miller.
