Beverly Jane Logosz was born on June 11, 1945, to Max and Mary (Ktytor) Logosz. She grew up north of Belfield on the family farm built by her grandfather, Maxim Logosz. In 1958 the family moved to Dickinson into the new home built by her father Max.
When her dad passed away in 1993, Beverly assumed the role of caregiver to her mom who suffered from muscular dystrophy. When Mary died in 2001, Beverly moved to Pioneer Haven, then to Villard Terrace, and in 2013 she moved to St. Benedict’s Health Care Center. She liked St. Ben’s so much that she declared she would live there for the rest of her life.
Beverly loved animals, especially birds, bunnies, and kitties. She enjoyed socializing and was active in the Queen City Social Club for many years. She loved bowling and was very proud of her trophy collection.
Beverly is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dave and Cathy Logosz, Dickinson. Greeting her in Heaven were her parents, several kitties and special friend, Don Pflepson.
They family extends a special thank you to everyone who was part of Beverly’s life, including: friends, Linda and Vivian, The ARC of Dickinson, ABLE, Inc., Badlands Human Services Center (Annette and Danelle), Northland PACE, St. Benedict’s Health Center staff, Dr. Hinrichs, and Dr. Gabbert.
Beverly’s wishes are for donations to be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Associations or American Heart Association.
