Tyler (Tiller) Symionow August 8, 1983 - October 5, 2024

Tyler “Tiller” Symionow, 41, died unexpectedly on Saturday, October 5, 2024 in Dickinson. Inurnment will take place at St. Thomas Cemetery, Gladstone with Deacon Robert Bohn presiding.

Tyler Symionow was born August 8, 1983 in Dickinson, the son of Terrance and Susan (Olheiser) Symionow. He was raised and educated in Dickinson, having graduated from DHS in 2001.

He was a natural, operating heavy equipment and as a mechanic. Tyler loved tinkering on anything with an engine, riding dirt bikes and snowmobiles even more. Tyler loved the outdoors whether it was camping or riding sled in the Black Hills of South Dakota.

Tyler was an artist. He could create a caricature that would make you smile or he could draw a portrait that would show deep feelings.

He didn’t like crowds, but loved to be around friends because they made it easy and comfortable. It’s hard losing a family member so young, there are so many memories to share stories with each other from growing up to working in the oilfields together. Inside jokes that only he and we as a family would understand.

Tyler was shy, quiet, polite, respectful and he had a very big heart. That was our “Tiller” and we all will miss him.

Tyler is survived by his mother, Susan Symionow; brothers, Derrick (Chelsey), Dickinson and Dustin, Gladstone; nephews, Tristin, Caymen, Mason, and Julian; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Terry; and grandparents, John and Dorothy Olheiser, Steve Symionow, and Eleanor Whipf.
