David Allen Bezek, 56, Dickinson, died on Friday, October 25, 2024 at his home. There will be a Celebration of Life Gathering at 4 p.m., Monday, November 4, 2024 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson.

David was born on August 29, 1968 in Mobile, AL to David Eugene Bezek and Sylvia Gayle Johnson. His childhood years were spent in El Paso, TX where he was raised by his father and stepmother Mona Soto. At age 28, he met his lifetime partner, Jody Morris. Shortly after the couple moved to Chapel Hill, NC to be near his brother John Bezek. While living in Chapel Hill the couple had their oldest child Devin Alan in 1999. In 2001, life took David and his family to Washington, DC where they had their second child, Deserae Patricia. From there the couple moved to Dumfries, VA in 2010 where they had their youngest child, Brittney Marie. Wanting to be closer to his family, and looking for new opportunities, he moved the family to Minot, ND in 2013 and then to Dickinson, ND where he spent his final years. David had worked in the oilfield for the past ten years at Weatherford Int’l and Liberty Lift. In his free time David was an avid outdoorsman loving to hunt and fish from his kayak.

David was preceded in death by his father, David; his mother, Sylvis; and his grandson, Apollo Stearns. He is survived by Jody Morris and children, Damon, Devin, Deserae, and Brittney; stepmother, Mona Soto; brother, John (Lisa) Bezek; sisters, Cristina (Patrick) Baca and Jolee Peters; nieces and nephews, Dustin West, Ashley West, Melissa Reichenbach, Daniel Pierce, Jennifer Molina, Amanda Cano, Khai Peters, Kei Peters, and Kade Peters.

David, may you rest peacefully until we meet again.
