Rachel Opp, 48, Bismarck, died on Friday, April 25, 2025 at CHI St. Alexius, Bismarck. Rachel’s Celebration of Life Service will be at 1:30 p.m., Sunday, May 4, 2025 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Pastor Janel Kolar as officiant. Inurnment will take place at Dickinson Cemetery.
Rachel S. Fraase was born on September 17, 1976 in Breckenridge, MN, the daughter of Rodger and Sharleen (Siewert) Fraase. When she was very young the family moved to Dickinson where she attended Dickinson Public Schools.
Rachel was united in marriage to Rodney Opp and to this union a son, Jesse, was born. She attended Bismarck State College where she earned her RN degree. As a nurse, she worked in the healthcare profession and for a period of time in the ND State Penitentiary.
She enjoyed motorcycles, music and especially fireworks!!
Rachel is survived by her son, Jesse; mother, Sharleen Fraase, Dickinson; sisters, Trudy (Allen) Wolf, Zeeland, and Anita (Dave) Weiler, Dickinson; nieces and nephews, Nicholas Wolf, Lenora Wolf, Loren Wolf, Presley Weiler and Fox (fiancée, Tori Belile) Weiler.
She was preceded in death by her father, Rodger Fraase.
