Donna was born June 25, 1960, in Provo, Utah. She was the third of seven children born to Jim and Genile Daybell Fillingim of Orem, Utah. While attending high school in Orem, Donna met her sweetheart and future husband Randall “Randy” Wayne Davenport. On September 24, 1981, they were married and sealed together for “Time and all Eternity” in the Salt Lake City Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter‑day Saints. She was devoted to her husband, and they enjoyed 44 years of marriage together on this earth.
The couple resided and raised their four children, Thomas Randall, Kelly Donald, Jessica, and Christina Davenport in Utah and Wyoming. In September of 2009, the family made the hard decision to move out of state to Dickinson, North Dakota.
Donna was diagnosed with diabetes at the early age of 17, which complicated several health challenges and sufferings throughout her life. Her familiarity with suffering gave her great compassion for others.
Donna was a devoted daughter of God who enjoyed teaching her children and grandchildren about the scriptures and about Jesus Christ. She also loved teaching many primary children in church as well. She was always a peacemaker, both in her home and in the lives of all she met. She loved everyone unconditionally. She was a model example of true friendship.
Donna was preceded in death by her sister, Mary (Glen) Burrows and grandparents on both sides of her family.
She is survived by her husband, Randall “Randy” Davenport of Dickinson; and her 4 children, 7 grandchildren, and 1 grandson-in‑law. Thomas (Sarah) Davenport and their 2 children, Aurora and William of Belfield; Kelly (Amanda) and their 2 children, Makaia and Bruce of Belfield; Jessica and her 3 children Makayla and Ryker Mohler of Belfield; and Skylee (Jakob) Willis of Vernal, UT; and Christina Davenport of Dickinson.
