Betty J. Herberholz, 82, Dickinson, died on Monday, December 15, 2025 at St. Lukes Home, Dickinson. Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
Betty Jane was born May 21, 1943 in Havelock, the daughter of Joseph F. and Emily (Jung) Herberholz. She was raised and educated in the New England area where she attended St. Mary’s schools.
She has two children, Todd and Tammy through a marriage. Throughout her life, she lived in various locations such as Montana, Wisconsin, Texas, and the past 25 years in Dickinson. During this time she worked at a clothing store, turkey factory, bean factory, as a home health aide, at a bakery, and most recently at KMM.
Betty is survived by her children, Todd (Debbie) Strand, and Tammy (Kurt) Obrigewitch; grandchildren, Samantha Dvorak, Alexa (Warren) Thompson, and Kyle Strand; great-grandchildren, Amelia and Kaitlin Thompson; siblings, Virginia Zoller, Bev (Monte) Strand, Frank Herberholz, Joe A. (Carol) Herberholz, and William Herberholz; sister-in-law, Ginny Herberholz; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; siblings and spouses, Jim Zoller, Chuck Burtts, Michael Herberholz, Josephine (John) Good, Magdalen (Edwin) Schorsch, Margaret (Floyd) Schorsch, Blanch Herberholz, Mary (Lee) Offutt, and Bernard Herberholz; and infant siblings, Peter, Joseph and Robert Herberholz.
