Jean M. Twogood, 90, formerly of Dickinson, died on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at Hill Top Home of Comfort, Killdeer. Jean’s Liturgy of Word will be at 11 a.m., Friday, March 20, 2026 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Deacon Victor Dvorak presiding. Interment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan.

Jean M. Zelinsky was born September 20, 1935 in Dickinson, the daughter of Peter and Lola (Jedlicka) Zelinsky. She was raised and educated in New Hradec where she attended through the eighth grade and finished her education at Dickinson High School, graduating in 1954.

She was united in marriage to Louie Twogood on September 8, 1954 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, New Hradec and to this union three children were born.

Throughout her life, she worked as a clerk in various retail locations. In her spare time, she enjoyed reading, doing word searches, baking, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Jean is survived by her children, Russell (Georgette) Twogood, of Dunedin, FL, Scott (Kim Rusch) Twogood, Medora, and Roxane (Darcy Dirkach) Twogood, Dickinson; five grandchildren, Sara (Taylor) Drew, Chase (Sarah) Twogood, Jacob (Kayla) Twogood, Tyler (Julianna) Preston, and Lucas (Stephanie) Preston; great-grandchildren, Autumn Preston, Wyatt and Easton Twogood, Able and Rosalee Twogood, Henry and Lola Drew; siblings, Verlie Lorch and Arnie (Karen) Zelinsky; numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie, on February 3, 2011; her parents; sister, Frances (Sam) Tymchuk; and brother-in-law, John Lorch.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Dunn County Soil Conservation Service, 105 Rodeo Drive, Killdeer, ND 58640.
