Candice Lee Szathmary, 39, Dickinson, passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026. A private graveside service will be held for Candice at a later date.
Candice was born February 24, 1987, in Dickinson, the daughter of Laszlo J. and Bonnie (Rohde) Szathmary. She was raised in Taylor.
Candice enjoyed listening to music, being around cats, enjoying nature and reading mysteries.
Candice is survived by her parents, Bonnie (Rohde) and Stan Heidecker, Dickinson and Lance and Mindy Szathmary, Detroit Lakes, Minn., children, Ariana and Peyton; brothers, Richie (Bailey) Szathmary, Bismarck, and Patchrick Szathmary, Minnesota.; grandparents, Laszlo and Gail Szathmary, Minnesota; nieces and nephews, Zara Szathmary, Aidan Szathmary and Gracie Klein; aunt, Michelle Szathmary; uncles, Christopher Szathmary and Elliot Rohde; and numerous cousins.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Ricky Szathmary; grandparents, Harley Rohde and Mardella Rohde; and uncles, Dennis Rohde, Ron Rohde, David Szathmary, Kenny Szathmary and Joseph Szathmary.
