Kelvin Faulhauber 73 of Dickinson, North Dakota, peacefully passed away from this life on Wednesday, April 8, 2026 at Sanford Medical Center in Bismarck, North Dakota after fighting a courageous battle with Cancer. Kelvin’s Liturgy of Word will be at 1 p.m., Friday, April 17, 2026 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Deacon Ross Reiter as presider. Interment will take place at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Kelvin was born October 3,1952 in Dickinson to Joseph and Mathilda (Bosch) Faulhaber. He was raised and educated in Dickinson and graduated from Dickinson High School in 1971. Kelvin had an exciting childhood growing up with five brothers, one sister and special cousin Bob that found themselves in a variety of different predicaments and adventures.

Kelvin married Kathleen Heidecker at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson on October 20, 1978. To this union Kathleen brought two daughters, Nicole, and Nina and together in 1986 they were blessed with twin boys, Cory and Kyle.

Throughout his life Kelvin worked for Steffes, Western Janitorial, Prairie Hills Mall and McDonalds. Kelvin was proud of his 41 years he was employed with McDonalds and the many friendships and relationships created.

Kelvin was involved with many different sports and activities in his life. He loved playing softball, volleyball, corn hole and was proud of his 154-bowling average. Kelvin enjoyed the times he could spend camping and exploring the outdoors with his wife and family. He was an avid pet lover, and you would always find him surrounded by animals, or four paws as outlined on the license plate.

Kelvin would spend many hours rooting for his favorite sports teams including the beloved Green Bay Packers, NDSU Bison, UND Fighting Hawks and the New York Yankees. You could always hear his enthusiasm for various parts of the game from touchdowns to home runs and to what he considered “bad referee calls”. You would always find him proudly wearing the attire in support of his team.

Kelvin enjoyed spending time coming “Down to the farm” where he would practice his shooting skills, going on side-by-side rides, helping his son-in-law troubleshoot equipment issues, spending time with great-grandchildren and checking cattle. Kelvin especially enjoyed spending time with his family who lived in Grand Forks. He would always boast about the wonderful food he was served at Darcys. Kelvin also enjoyed his sweet treats and would graciously deliver many types of candys and pastries when visiting friends and family, not only on the holidays but throughout the year.

Kelvin will be greatly missed by everyone near and dear and has touched the hearts of family, friends, and co-workers.

Kelvin is survived by this daughter, Nicole (Wayde) Atkinson, Lemmon SD; daughter, Nina Wolfinger, Dickinson; son, Cory Faulhauber, Dickinson; and son, Kyle Faulhauber, Dickinson; brothers, Don (Susie) Faulhauber, Killeen TX, Tom (Marie) Faulhaber, Dickinson, Dennis (Lorraine) Faulhauber, Dickinson, Larry Faulhauber, Dickinson; sister, Darlene (Rick) Hofer, Gladstone; sister-in-law, Joanne Faulhaber, Grand Forks; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Faulhauber, on October 26, 2013; parents, Joseph and Mathilda Faulhauber; niece, Marcia Faulhauber; brother, Jerry Faulhaber; infant brother, Randy Faulhauber; and nephew, Tim Faulhaber.
