Agnes M. Scott, 89, Dickinson, formerly of Manning, died Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Health Center, Dickinson. Agnes’ funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Living Word Fellowship, Dickinson with Mr. David Scott presiding. Visitation will be from noon until 5 p.m., Friday at Ladbury Funeral Service and will continue one hour prior to service time at the church. Interment will take place at Dickinson Cemetery in the spring.

Agnes Weber was born May 15, 1923 on the Weber farm near Grassy Butte to Martin and Agnes (Steinford) Weber. Agnes attended Badlands Grade School and high school in Killdeer and graduated from Model High, Dickinson. After graduation, Agnes obtained her teaching certificate and taught two years at Hovden Grade School, one year at Heiser Grade School and one year at Regeth Grade School. Agnes married William D. Scott on November 2, 1947 at Killdeer. Together they moved to Bill’s farm east of Manning where she lived for 63 years.

Agnes was a past member of Manning Community Church and a current member of Freedom Baptist Church, Dickinson, Agnes was also a member of Gideons International and 50 Years in the Saddle Club. Agnes enjoyed gardening and in later years feeding and watching the birds around her home. Time with her family was what brought Agnes the greatest joy.

Agnes is survived by her four sons, David (Carol), Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico, Gordon (Gale), Lyman, Wyo., Billy (Donna), Manning, and Bruce (Shelly), Tiffin, Ohio, 13 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren, two sisters, Virginia Bice, Killdeer and Omy Brew, Bismarck.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill, three brothers, Willard, Dick, and Eddy and two sisters, Irene Scott and Helen Bice.
