Allan Dolezal, 83, Killdeer, died Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at Hill Top Home of Comfort. Allan’s Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, May 5, 2021 at St. John Lutheran Church, Killdeer with Pastor Dorothy Stein officiating.

Allan Dolezal was born November 28, 1937 in Killdeer, the son of Charles and Mary (Kadrmas) Dolezal. He was raised and educated in Killdeer and was active in sports, music and drama while in high school. He was a graduate of Killdeer High School.

Allan was united in marriage to Kaye Stoll on December 22, 1957 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Killdeer. In his adult life in Killdeer, he served on many boards and committees. He was proud of his community and the Killdeer School and its many activities.

He loved sports, music, gardening, farming, growing things, raising cows and calves, and Rain.

Allan is survived by his wife, Kaye, Killdeer; sibling, Karen (George) Baker, Powder Springs, Ga.; nieces, Jill (Mike) Carney, Powder Springs, and Kathy (Scott) Kaiser (Amber, Jenny, Jill, Joey and Kyle), Lino Lakes, Minn.; nephew, Greg (Lisa) Henderson, Texas; foreign exchange students and families, Jaime Leal Murillo family, Jenny, Heredia, Costa Rica C.A. (Carol (Gabriel), Maria Lucia, Gabriella (Brian), Nicole, Samuel and Simon) and Dorys Wong deBlum family, (Sister Maria Paula, Gus and Ale), Guayaquil, Ecuador, S.A.; and cousin, Doug Prchal, Bismarck.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Shirley Henderson; brother-in-law, Bob Henderson; nephew Jeff (Candee) Henderson; and foreign exchange student, Jaime Leal Murillo.
