Allen Kasian, 66, Belfield, died Friday, June 8, 2018 at Hill Top Home of Comfort, Killdeer. Allen’s Liturgy of Word Service will be 10 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Ladbury Funeral Service with Deacon Dallas Carlson presiding. Inurnment will follow at St. Bernard’s Cemetery, Belfield. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, with a rosary and time of sharing at 7 p.m.

Allen John Kasian was born February 9, 1952 in Dickinson, son of John and Magdaline (Froehlich) Kasian. He was educated and graduated from South Heart High School in 1970. He continued his education at Denver Automotive, graduating as an auto mechanic in 1974.

Following the death of his dad in 1975, Allen took over the family farm. He farmed until 1996 and then rented out the land. Allen worked various jobs including the oil field as a hand and later a driller. He also worked nights at Super Pumper in Belfield for numerous years. He lived 11 miles northeast of Belfield until September of 2014 when he became a resident of Hill Top Home of Comfort in Killdeer.

He enjoyed hunting prairie dogs, working on cars, equipment and anything else that needed to be fixed. Allen loved visiting with his family and friends.

Allen is survived by his sister, Mary (Rodger) Hughes, Arvada, Colo.; and his brother, Michael (Connie) Kasian, Belfield; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Julie Thoreson and Janet Malkowski.
