Angeline M. Heidecker, 89, Dickinson, died Saturday, May 30, 2015 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Angeline’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2015 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Dickinson. Visitation will be on Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Ladbury Funeral Service, with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding.
Angeline M. Scheeler was born May 21, 1926 in Dickinson, the daughter of Joe J. and Rose (Flink) Scheeler. She was raised and educated in the Hirschville area. On October 19, 1948 she was untied in marriage to William D. “Bill” Heidecker, at St. Phillips Catholic Church, Hirschville.
They made their home in Dickinson in 1949, where she went to work as a housekeeper, and licensed Day Care provider, while raising their two children. Angie loved to go dancing, traveling, listening to old time music, working her flower beds and garden. Angie especially loved taking care of her grandchildren, and family gatherings.
She belonged to the German Hungarian Club. She will be remembered as a very devout Catholic belonging to St. Joseph’s Parish.
Angeline is survived by her son, Ken (Carol) Heidecker, Dickinson; son-in-law, Kelvin Faulhaber, Dickinson; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four siblings, Richard (Evie) Scheeler, Tucson, Ariz., Gilbert (Josephine) Scheeler, Dickinson, Ted (Georgie) Scheeler, Bozeman, Mont., and Lorraine (Joseph) Heidecker, Dickinson. She was preceded in death by her husband, William on June 5, 2007; her daughter, Kathleen Faulhaber; her parents; brothers, Ray and Edward Scheeler; and sister, Hannah Heidecker.
