Ann (Dutchuk) Holland, 93, Dickinson, ND, died Friday, March 2, 2007 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Ann’s Parastas will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church, Fairfield, with Fr. Taras Miles as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Tuesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a rosary at 7 p.m.. Visitation will continue one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Ann Dutchuk was born March 10, 1913 at Snow, ND, the daughter of Metro and Polly (Pryhorocki) Dutchuk. She was raised and educated in Billings County of North Dakota.

Ann married Joseph F. Holland on August 20, 1951 at St. Demetrius Ukrainian Catholic Church. They lived in Idaho where Ann worked in a logging mill and also owned and operated a bakery for a while. Ann prided herself on her beautiful flower beds and her special touch with roses.

Ann is survived by two brothers, Sam Dutchak, Belfield and Bill Dutchuk, Dickinson; her sister-in-law, Olga Dutchuk, Bismarck; numerous nieces and nephews; and her close friends from Idaho, Jack and Kimberly Bauer family and Eileen Kowalski. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, a brother, Mike Dutchuk, and a sister, Catherine Pischke. Ann will be remembered as to saying “I want to live God’s plan”.
