Ann M. Duttenhefer, 87, Dickinson, died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson. Ann’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Friday, July 5, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., with a rosary at 7 p.m., with Deacon Ralph Stockert presiding.

Ann was born on November 2, 1925, on a farm south of Dodge, the daughter of Joseph and Katherine (Kuntz) Gleich.

Ann married John Duttenhefer on November 6, 1945, at St. Martin’s Catholic Church, south of Dodge.

The Duttenhefers farmed for 10 years prior to moving to Montana. They returned to Dickinson, where Ann worked from 1970-1988, when she retired.

In her spare time, she enjoyed making quilts for her children and grandchildren and doing beadwork.

Ann is survived by eight children, Joan Lago, Pattie Fiedler, Donnie (Renea), Myron (Robbie), Mathew, Alice Zelinski, Joel, Leon (Tina) and one son-in-law, Gene Swope; 21 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 3 great great-grandchildren; one sister, Florence Zarr and one brother, Leo Gleich. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, three daughters, Rose Mary, Ida May, and Elaine Nancy, one sister, two brothers, and three grandchildren.
