Ann M. Fisher, 85, Dickinson, died Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Ann’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, September 28, 2013 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Sebastian Stephen as the celebrant and assisted by Deacon Dallas Carlson. Interment will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Tony Wanner presiding.

Ann Mary Rebensdorf was born October 9, 1927 at Hirschville, the daughter of Alexander and Mary (Kubischta) Rebensdorf. She was raised and educated north of Dickinson. She went to work at a young age due to her father’s untimely death. She began working at Berzel’s Bakery and later worked at Villard Hotel, Woolworth’s and Liberty Bank.

Ann married Arnold Fisher from Dickinson on September 3, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church. They were married for 55 years and they raised four children. They farmed east of Dickinson. Ann remained on the farm until due to her health she became a resident of St. Benedict’s Health Center.

Ann was a devout Catholic and served as a member of St. Anne’s Auxiliary for many years. She loved to dance and spending time with her family. Genealogy and reading were hobbies she enjoyed as well as getting away for day trips with Arnold.

Ann is survived by her husband, Arnold; four children, Renata (Steven) Rising, Gilbert, Ariz., Joe Fisher, Morrison, Colo., Doug (Emily) Fisher, Dickinson, and Cynthia (Mike) Marshalek, Plymouth, Minn.; eight grandchildren, Rachel Rising, Brandi Rising, Jennifer Fisher, Lisa Fisher, Phillip Fisher, Alexis Marshalek, Mikayla Marshalek, and Evan Marshalek; and two sisters, Pauline Svihl, Dickinson, and Veronica (John) Huck, Bismarck. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister and brother-in-law, Eleanor (John) Kadrmas; and brother-in-law, Charles Svihl.
