Anna Auch, 82, formerly of Dickinson died Saturday, October 11, 2008 at Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center, Bismarck. Anna’s funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Thursday, October 16, 2008 at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with Rev. Bob Karie officiating. Interment will follow at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m., Wednesday and from 8 a.m. to service time on Thursday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Anna Heinle was born March 17, 1926 on the family farm south of Richardton, the daughter of Otto and Katherine (Fehr) Heinle. This is where she was raised and educated.

Anna married Theophil “Ted” Auch on March 31, 1946 at the Congregational church south of Richardton. They farmed until 1956 when they sold the farm and moved into Hebron and then in 1958 moved to Dickinson. Anna was a devoted mother taking care of and raising their six children. She enjoyed quilting and sewing, having made much of the clothing for their children herself. Anna and Ted moved to Bismarck in 2000 and she became a resident of Missouri Slope Lutheran Care Center in October of 2005.

Anna is survived by six children, Carol (David) Scott, Mexico, Myrtle (Linus) Bauer, Butte, Myron Auch, Bismarck, Carla (Rod) Kuhn, Bismarck, Noreen (Marvin) Vogel, Bismarck, and Norman (Renee) Auch, Vernon, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two sisters, Alvina (Arthur) Krein, Dickinson, and Esther Striha, Butte. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ted on August 30, 2002; her parents; two brothers, Emanuel and Willie Heinle; three sisters, Louise Frey, Hilda Kuntz and Gertrude Idler; and two infant grandsons.
