Funeral services for Anna Frank, 100, of Dickinson, will be 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, Dickinson with Rev. Scott Erickson officiating. Interment will take place at the Dickinson Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson with a prayer service at 7 p.m.

Anna passed away on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at CHI St. Alexius Dickinson. This was 29 years to the day that her husband, Fred, passed away.

Anna was born on February 11, 1923 to Herman and Anna (Reinholdt) Rieckmann in Dickinson. She attended Shipley Country School, completing the eighth grade. On June 28, 1949, she married Fred Frank in Dickinson at St. John’s Lutheran Church. They made their home in Dickinson where they raised their three children, Shirley, Jerry, and Sandy. Anna is remembered for the love of her family and always willing to lend a helping hand. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and will be remembered for her fine skills in crocheting, quilting, and gardening. She was also known for her hospitality, hosting coffee parties, family dinners and card parties.

Anna is survived by her three children, Shirley (Leo) Bachmeier, Bismarck, Jerry Frank (Flor Gonzalez), Benson, AZ, and Sandy (Duane) Stockert, Dickinson; nine grandchildren, Corey (Melissa) Bachmeier, Las Vegas, NV, Kristen (Mark) Bratton, Fargo, Rebecca (Dave) Bognacki, New Bern, NC, Micaela (Nate) Taylor, Encinitas, CA, Tanya (Jason) Davis, Lincolnton, NC, Matt (Candice) Stockert, San Diego, CA, Chad (Lana) Stockert, Corona, CA, Megan (Brad) VanSon, Dickinson, Preston Stockert, Dickinson; and 18 great-grandchildren.

Anna was preceded in death by her husband, Fred, January 2, 1995; her parents; her sisters, Alice John, Frieda Eggers, Dorothy Towberman, Emma John, Kathryn Schmidt, and Hilda Dassinger; brothers, Herman, Herbert, and Bill Rieckmann.
