Arlene G. Binstock, 63, Dickinson, was granted her angel wings on Monday, January 10, 2011 at St. Benedict’s Health Center, Dickinson. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends that she had touched in some small way throughout her memorable life. Arlene’s Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, January 15, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Keith Streifel as the celebrant. Interment will take place at Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery, New Hradec. Visitation will be on Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson, with a rosary & vigil at 7 p.m., with Deacon Bob Stockert presiding.

Arlene Frank was born March 24, 1947 in Dickinson, the daughter of Liberatus and Genevieve (Dukart) Frank. She graduated from Central High School, Dickinson in 1966.

Arlene married George Binstock on October 10, 1966 and continued to live in Dickinson where they raised five children. Arlene was a homemaker, a cake decorator, worked as a nursing assistant and also operated her own daycare throughout her life.

Arlene was a devout Christian woman who always gave to others instead of herself; she was loving and compassionate, and did not prejudge those around her. She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, belonged to the Christian women’s organization, and worked with various charities.

She took great interest in her family, gardening, sewing and traveling. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to her family and grandchildren.

Arlene is survived by her husband, George; their five children, Curtis G. (Caren) Binstock, Maricopa, Ariz., Chad G. (Nicole) Binstock, Fort Belvoir, Va., Glenda A. (Dana) Bird, Dickinson, John L. Binstock, Washington, D.C., and Jennifer P. (Jeremy) Kukowski, Mandan; 11 grandchildren, Natasha, Emily, Nathan, Cody, Rachel, Grace, Austin, Brayden, Eryn, Addison and Sydney; her mother, Genevieve Frenzel, Dickinson; five brothers, Raymond (Louise) Frank, Cottage Grove, Ore., Ernie (Eileen) Frank, Dickinson, Ronald (Joyce) Frank, Creswell, Ore., Herman (Loretta) Frank, Dickinson, and Harvey (Gloria) Frank, Grand Prairie, Texas; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father; stepfather, Florian Frenzel; and her in-laws, John and Pauline Binstock, Jr.
