Emerentiana Arlene Myran was born December 24, 1938 in Richardton, the second of three girls, to Mike and Regina Feller. In 1944, she started school in Taylor, finishing in Richardton when she graduated in 1956. Upon graduating, Arlene returned home to live and help on the farm. In 1970, she married Norman, a widowed rancher with four children, and moved to the Myran family farm-five miles down the road. Together they blended the family with four more children. Arlene stayed busy with children and more children as well as house keeping—cooking and cleaning. She also stayed busy outside with gardening, flowers, and helping with all the animals.

Arlene belonged to “The Model T Squares” Taylor Square Dance Group, and Richardton Saddle Club. She helped with 4-H and booster club, TCA (Taylor Community Activities), Horsefest, and St. Mary prayer chain. Arlene enjoyed gardening, tending her flowers, canning, sewing, reading, quilting, playing piano and taking photographs of nature.

Arlene is survived by her children, Greg (Mel Faulhaber), Owen (Vicky), Sue (Jeremy) Lysne, Rory (Bethany), Kenny (Candy), Keith (Carolyn), and Kathy (Kevin) Krank; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Joe Friedt; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Myran; her parents, Mike and Regina Feller; sisters, Corinne Friedt and Sylvia Feller; son, Kevin Myran; and many loved extended family members.
