Betty Ehli, 80, Dickinson, ND, died Saturday, December 8, 2007 at St. Joseph’s Hospital & Health Center, Dickinson. Betty’s Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at St. John’s Episcopal Church, Dickinson, with Fr. Bruce MacDuffie as celebrant. Interment will take place at the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Tuesday at Ladbury Funeral Service, and will continue one hour prior to services at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m., Tuesday at Ladbury Funeral Service.

Betty Ktytor was born May 17, 1927 on the family farm in Billings County, north of Belfield, ND, the daughter of John and Tekla (Franchuk) Ktytor. She was raised and educated west of New Hradec, ND, graduating from Model High at Dickinson State Teachers College.

Betty married Donald J. Ehli on November 24, 1947 in Dickinson. Betty worked at the Ray Hotel, Nash Finch and had taught country school prior to beginning a 34 year career as secretary for the Dickinson Abstract Company, retiring in 1998.

Betty participated in bowling for 36 years, served as treasurer for St. John’s Episcopal Church for 31 years and had belonged to BPO (Business and Professional Women). She enjoyed growing flowers, working in her garden and an occasional trip to 4-Bears.

Betty is survived by her husband of 60 years; her son Donald W. Ehli, Dickinson; one brother, John (Olga) Ktytor, Bismarck, ND; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Bobby and William; one sister, Mary Logosz; and one nephew, Larry Ktytor.
