Betty Ione (Wudtke) Hoff formally of Linton, having resided the last 22 years in Dickinson, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at the age of 90 years old. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. A Private Family Service will be held at Ladbury Funeral Service, Dickinson. There will be a Memorial Service for Betty at 11 a.m. CT, Friday, April 26, 2025 at Linton First United Methodist Church with lunch following the service. Inurnment will take place at Temvik Cemetery. Please join the family for lunch following the burial.

Betty was born December 13, 1934 in Temvik, the daughter of Albert and Hilda (Keller-Larvick) Wudtke. She attended both grade school and High School in Temvik. Betty then attended Valley City State College and received her teaching certificate. She then taught in rural school districts in Highland, Omio, Mc Cully, and Marie. Betty married Arthur Hoff on September 22, 1956 in the Linton Methodist Church. She retired from teaching to raise her three daughters, as family and faith were her top priorities. She was active in 4-H clubs, and a Homemaker group. Betty was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Linton, were she taught Sunday School for several years. Art and Betty farmed until their retirement in 1981. They then moved to Linton to care for Art and Betty’s living parents. They moved to Dickinson in 2003 to be with her daughter, Betty and grandson, Mark Gianunzio. While living in Dickinson, Betty attended Living Word Fellowship.

Betty enjoyed her daily worship, spending time with family, doing puzzles, reading, gardening, and playing cards/games. She will be missed by her remaining family.

She is survived by her daughters, Diana (Bill) Kightlinger, Debra (Dale) Christopherson, and Betty Gianunzio, Dickinson; four grandchildren, Billy Kightlinger, Heather Kightlinger, Alyssa Christopherson, and Mark Steven Gianunzio; great-grandchild, Oliver Kightlinger.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Art Hoff; her brother, Danny Wudtke; and many other family and friends whom she is to be delighted to be reunited with in heaven.
