Degree in Elementary Education from Dickinson State Teachers College and taught in schools in Bentley, Regent, Mott, and Dickinson. Betty accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized as a youth. She was an active member of Hillside Baptist Church, Dickinson and Dickinson Christian Women’s Club. She attended Dakota Women’s Retreat in Medora annually. In 2003, a series of mini-strokes made it impossible for her to live alone and she chose to reside at the St. Luke’s Home which is where she lived until the time of her death.

Betty is survived by two sisters, Estrella Huber, New Salem and Marcy (Curtis) Donner, New Salem; six nephews, Russell Pahl, Reginald Pahl, Ryan Huber, Gregg Huber, Jesse Donner, and David Donner and one niece Donnel Huber.
